January 7th marks the beginning of the 2011-2012 Upward season.
We wish every team success and more importantly have fun!
Upward is a first-class sports experience that emphasizes healthy competition, sportsmanship, skills building and fun versus the “win-at-all-costs” mentality found in many children sports leagues. A few things that makes Upward different:
- Upward aims to teach both athletic skill as well as personal values for success
- Every practice includes off court time to learn a different bible verse
- Every child receives an even amount of playing time
- Upward prioritizes a family friendly schedule by conducting one-hour practices and games each week
Our league is completely run and organized by volunteers. We hope that your family enjoys Upward this season!
